The story takes place in 18th century russia. empress elizabeth’s confessor, monk named Lavr, is exiled to a monastery in a haunted mountainous region, taking his secret ancient knowledge with him. The plot in this movie is very good and somewhat original. The charactors were good especially the priest. I enjoyed Vamps very much. If I had any complaints it is the fact that English was a subtitle. I like to hear the movie not read it.
